The most magnificent staircase at the Musée Gustave Moreau in Paris. This would be amazing - totally could bring out the closeted library-dwelling menace in me if I ever built this.

I love old stair cases: they lead upwards and when the treads are worn, I know the journey is worthwhile.:

The interior truly resembles a Tuscan estate and will transport you to a fond memory of your last Italian trip…or perhaps your next. Limestone flooring in earth tones as you enter the home is the perfect accompaniment to rich wood and masonry work. Throughout the home deep walnut wood accents provide an old-world sensation to all who visit. The wood details can be hand-hewn beams, wide-plank wood floors and in window and cased-opening trim work.:

Received my ASID in 1993. Practiced Residential and Commercial design in TX. Lead designer/Designers Showcase/Master Suite benefiting the Columbus GA symphony in 2005.
